Reverend Shirley Anne, Officiant,
Carolina Wedding Company

Rev. Shirley Anne has been a Non-Denominational Minister since 1987, and has been lucky to officiate hundreds of celebrations for couples of all faiths. She began as owner/operator of a quaint chapel—Alpha Day Wedding Chapel in Twentynine Palms, California—where she issued marriage licenses, performed wedding ceremonies, designed flowers, and provided photography and videography.

Her dream of performing weddings on the beach came true in 1999 when she relocated to North Carolina's Outer Banks. Rev. Shirley Anne is proud to be the first female wedding celebrant to serve "nature's sanctuary," and to provide on-location wedding services to the pristine beaches of Eastern North Carolina. She was the eleventh member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association (OBWA), and served as an officer of that organization. She has also been selected as the OBWA's Dream Wedding Officiant numerous times, including for the 2013 OBX Dream Wedding EXPO giveaway.

She has performed ceremonies at almost every vacation home and venue from Corolla to Ocracoke Island, and brings to your occasion not only decades of experience, but a passion to provide a heartfelt and spiritual ceremony. Her enthusiasm and confidence is apparent as she leads you through your celebration of love, your vows, your rings, your kiss.

Rev. Shirley also provides floral services, consulting and planning, wedding packages and day-of-event coordination.

The magic of the Outer Banks, the pristine beaches, remarkable sunsets, lighthouses and elaborate vacation homes create a wedding memory for you and your family like no other. Together, we create a magic moment, a moment I am honored to share.

I'm always available to discuss availability and your plans for your wedding day—which I hope to share with you.
