Welcome to the many words of love!

Your wedding ceremony is a reflection of the two of you, your day, your heart and your words. These words express the love you share and the devotion you make to one another. Readings and poems, whether performed by your Officiant, family or friends enhances the ceremony and serves as a reminder to those gathered of the beauty of love.

The ceremonies listed here are suggestions. Feel free to mix and mingle words for a service as unique as the two of you. Thank you to the couples who have shared with us! Enjoy!

Beach Policies and Permits

There are many wonderful locations to hold your Outer Banks wedding ceremony. By far, the most popular is to utilize our vast, beautiful beaches. Some of our OBX beaches do require a permit in order to have your ceremony on the beach… while others do not.

If you are planning a beach ceremony in Nags Head or any of the beaches north of Nags Head, you are not required to obtain any sort of permit.

If you are planning a beach ceremony south of Nags Head, a permit is required from the National Park Service for $100. They can be obtained here. If you have any questions, feel free to call me.
